Alpha Electronics are the largest test instrument specialists in the UK, with branches nationwide. They sell a wide range of equipment, stocking electrical and electronic test equipment from all the leading manufacturers. Alpha also run training courses and run a calibration and repair service. They asked ib3 to help run PPC campaigns to drive website traffic to specific products, training courses and services on their website.
After carrying out extensive keyword and competitor research, we set up a range of Search campaigns, each focusing on a specific manufacturer product or training course. Careful consideration was given to the split of the budget across the campaigns. Location based campaigns were instrumental in increasing attendance at training courses. Over time, we have refined the campaigns to include new products and to reflect Alpha Electronics’ changing sales priorities.
The campaign has been very successful at driving targeted traffic to the Alpha Electronics website, generating 10,000 clicks over the past year. The click-through rate has increased by over 200%. Crucially, a high proportion of the ads have appeared in the coveted number one position in the Google search listings.
